Christmas Carols Wrap Up
Thank you so much to all the families who came to celebrate the end of a terrific year at the Christmas Carols last Thursday night. The weather gods worked in our favour and it was a fabulous, warm summer night to be outside enjoying the kids' singing and having fun with the school community on the oval. Huge thanks again to Suzanne Currie for running the event, Nat Taffe for her incredible efforts gathering so many raffle prizes, and to the P&F Committee as a whole for coming together to support the event in the lead up and on the night.

Thank you also to the staff for their efforts in making this night so special, and to all the St. Catherine's families for their donations of raffle prizes, cake stall items, and their time assisting on the night.
We are thrilled to let you know that raffle ticket sales, cake stall treats, drinks and ice cream purchases raised a total of $2,791.25 for the school! This is a fantastic effort and we thank you all for contributing. The funds raised will go towards our school mural project, as well as more school projects next year.
The P&F Committee is also pleased to announce our final fundraising figure for the year - a whopping $9,747! These funds were raised throughout the year at events like the school disco, Bunnings Barbecues, the Easter Raffle, and more. We thank you so much for your contribution towards these fundraising events that enable the P&F Committee to work collaboratively with the school staff in purchasing equipment such as the new speaker and microphone, and funding school ground upgrades such as the courtyard garden clean up and replanting, and put on events like last week's Christmas Carols - all the things to make St. Catherine's a wonderful place where all our kids can thrive.
One final reminder to consider volunteering for the P&F Committee next year - it's a great way to meet new people at school and play a big part in helping make St. Catherine's the amazing school that we all know and love.
