MIND READY?

We were lucky last week to have The National Theatre for children come and visit our school for a second time this term to teach us about having a 'Growth Mindset'. The students loved the humour, and the fabulous props that allowed them to help learn and further understand the difference between having a growth mindset and fixed mindset. 

On Wednesday 11th of February, the entire school was lucky enough to attend a performance called Eco Guardians - Mission: It’s Possible by the National Theatre for Children. The performance was entertaining and educational. The show taught us about what batteries are, why we have to recycle them and how we can do that to save the environment. 

Cooper and Duke:

When we first entered the hall they got us to name celebrities and food we hate. After that they started their show, and WOW - it was amazing! At the beginning they told us that we would be learning about batteries.

Then the play began. First there was a Kid Man Secret Agent Y who told us about Dr Neveready. Kid Man ran down the middle aisle and went crazy -  it was so funny. Dr Neverready had a turtle called Taylor Swift. She got sad because Taylor Swift got sick. So Kid Man said it was because you weren't recycling batteries. The only way to save Taylor Swift was to start recycling them.
