Second-hand uniform shop
As we enter the cooler months, a reminder that the Second-hand uniform shop has lots of button-up shirts, pants and winter tunics for purchase (no new navy items - sports wear, jackets or jumpers). Please see office staff for access when it suits you. If you have any items that are in good condition to sell, please feel free to drop at the school office, thank you!
School Disco
The school disco is back!! Save the date for the evening of Friday, May 3 for our glow in the dark, neon disco in the school hall! Dress in your brightest white or neon colours and dance under the glowing lights to all your favourite songs! A disco ticket order form has gone home with students with all the information and payment is due next Monday, April 29. The P&F are seeking volunteers to assist on the night, so if you have a spare couple of hours please text Julia Runci on 0433 582 521 to express your interest - we need about 10 volunteers on the night.
The P&F are seeking food donations for the snack table at the disco. If you are able to donate pre-packaged, nut-free food we would greatly appreciate it. Suggested items include things like:
- Small packets of popcorn, chips mini cookies/shapes/rice crackers
- Doughnuts and large bakery cookies
- Prepackaged cupcakes, slices and brownies
- Gluten free cookies and crackers.
Snack donations can be dropped off at the office on Friday, May 3 or brought to the disco upon arrival in the evening.
Dad's Group
Hello St Caths Dad's! Hope the school holidays have treated you all swimmingly. Due to the Anzac Day long weekend, our event at Lucky 13 Garage will be cancelled. However, the next event was only a week later.
Bring the family and join us at Highett Reserve on Turner Rd, May 4th at 2pm for an exhilarating football showdown between Highett and the Caulfield Bears. Come cheer for our local teams and enjoy some quality time together. With play equipment for the kids, delicious treats from the canteen, and a refreshing bar for the adults, there's something for everyone. Let's come together as a school community, support our local team, and make this event one to remember!

Mother's Day Stall - Thursday 9 May
The St Catherine's Mother's Day stall is back again this year, thanks to our friends at OLSH College. The stall will run on Thursday May 9, with order forms for the number of gifts sent home this week. No cash on the day, payment required in advance. OLSH students will run the stall and help your child choose a gift for their loved ones.
Mum's Group - Mother's Day dinner
Mother's Day is coming up - make arrangements now to attend the St Catherine's Mother's Day dinner! Saturday May 11, 7.30pm. Mum's and special friends invited! $35 - Two courses: Entree and Main; Drinks at bar prices at Vino E Vita, Wine Bar and Kitchen, 270 Highett RD, Highett. Colour Run - is BACK!
P&F will be again running the Colour Run in Term 3 - Thursday September 19. Watch this space!
P&F Meeting - Tomorrow night
The Parents and Friends committee is meeting tomorrow night - at school at 7.30pm. It's a great way to contribute to your school community - all are welcome!
