Mural Update
On June 17th the children and families in the St Catherine’s mural working group came together to finalise the artist brief for the composition of the colours, style and design. It was a fun and productive night facilitated by Jo and Candice to ensure we captured the ideas expressed in a cohesive theme. These themes centred on connecting to place (the Moorabbin community), respect the earth and play with us. Children and families wanted it to be FUN, be whimsical, colourful, exciting, imaginative, capture movement and include lots of our favourite things all at once. The next steps are to appoint the artist with this brief and we continue to work towards completion by the end of Term 3. Watch this space!!!
