Japanese News
Dear Parents and Friends,
We have been busy as usual in Japanese this term.
The Foundation have been improving their reading of Japanese. For example, they had to read the sentences on the telly and work out what colour to use for the big and small shapes on their piece of paper. This means they needed to be able to read the colours in Japanese, the shapes in Japanese and the words ‘big’ and ‘small’ in Japanese! Phew! The Grade 1/2 students have been concentrating on typing in Japanese on their iPads and the rest of the school have been learning Kanji words which are similar to Chinese writing. みなさん、よくできました。(minasan yoku dekimashita/great work, everybody.) ☺
