Book Week: Reading is my Secret Power
What a FANTASTIC, FABULOUS celebration we had for BOOK WEEK last week.
The week started off with our Book Week Parade, we had so many exciting costumes worn not only our students but also the staff.
This was followed by recess activities for the whole week, children enjoyed our wonderful new LEGO Sets, Plank Building, Finger Knitting and of course our new favourite Knitting.
The children from all levels enjoyed the Book Week rotations where they participated in an activity related to one of the Short Listed Books.
Our Book Week Assembly this year was unlike no other with each class performing a play, song or story . Congratulations to all children for embracing our love of reading. We had so many Masks made for our family competition, that the judges had such a very hard decision.
