Our Learning Hub is open every Wednesday and Thursday recess for children to come in  and either build with our new LEGO or build with the planks, draw or finger knit, or knit or of course play Chess.

Our new favourite with the 5/6 girls is KNITTING. We have started something here, the girls are going knitting crazy at the moment. We are lucky to have some helpers - Karen Glancy, Paula Hamilton and Lynda O’Donnell to support these girls. We have had children come that have never knitted before and some that have. One of our Year 6 girls Ava Ronchi has been knitting for a while, she has been fantastic in casting on and helping getting girls to give it a go. Emily Hede has never knitted before and being a left hander found it very challenging but with the help from Paula and encouragement from Ava she has mastered it!!!!!

If anyone else wants to knit or learn how to knit , just bring in some thick wool and some big needles and we will get you started.
