School Uniform
Classroom teachers are finding many students are not adhering to our school uniform policy. In particular students need to be reminded about the following:
- Nail polish/make up is not to be worn. Students who present at school with nail polish on will be asked to remove it by the next school day
- Long hair must be tied back
- Hair must be of natural colour and style as deemed appropriate by the principal
- Hair ribbons and for girls are to be natural or school colours only i.e. blue, maroon
- Runners or track shoes are to be worn with Physical Education uniform only
- Black School Shoes (not runners) are to be worn
Parents could you please ensure students are wearing correct uniform. Beginning term 4 summer uniform, hat and sunglasses are compulsory for playtimes.
Whole School Performance
We are all really looking forward to our school performance next term. Students have been busy practising singing, dancing and learning lines. I am sure the performance will be a fantastic event.
Tickets for our school performance are selling fast. Please click on the link below or enter into your browser to book tickets for our whole school performance at 7:00pm on Tuesday 8 October at Kilbreda College School Hall Mentone.
All students are expected to attend on this night. Parents do not need to purchase a ticket for St Catherine’s Students. The proceeds of ticket sales support the hire of the venue, dance lessons, costumes and sets.

St Catherine’s is hosting two pre-service teachers this term and into term 4. Heather Eagling will be working with Maree Hill’s in year 1-2MH and Natalie Morgan will be working with Megan Moore in year 5-6MM. It is great for our school, staff and students to be supporting the learning of students training to be teachers. They often bring enthusiasm and lots of current ideas from their university studies to share on their placement in schools. We warmly welcome them to our school learning community.
