Hi All
There's going to be quite a bit of information coming your way in the next few weeks as we get closer to the market on the 28th November. Please take the time to read each of the updates. We would also be very grateful for people to volunteer when we ask for help without us having to beg!
Advertising
The advertising boards are being made up and we're now looking for locations. If you (or someone you know) live on a main road and are happy to have a board in front of your house for a few weeks. Please let me know ASAP. We are hoping to have the boards up by the end of this week.
Craft Items
Karen Glancy (a Foundation parent) has been putting a lot of work with the children at lunchtimes into create lovely items for us to sell on the night. She is currently looking for:
- Elastic (1cm wide)
- Christmas fabrics for scrunchies and reusable Christmas wrapping.
- Christmas paper, ribbons, trinkets and cardboard for card making (scraps form someone’s stash would be great!)
- Slime making ingredient - PVA glue - we are planning to make jars of Elf snot (green slime)
- Small clean glass jars (baby food, small jam jars)
- Bath bomb making ingredients - citric acid, bi-carb soda, corn flour, coconut oil, lavender/sleepy essential oils,
- Felt for Christmas decorations
If you can assist with donating any of these items please let myself or Karen know! You can also drop them off at the office anytime!
Raffle
Jess Wilson & Lisa Anstee have done a sensational job drumming up donations for our raffle. The prizes are going to be fantastic! We are hoping the raffle books will be sent out in the next week or so.
Stalls
There are still stalls available, so if you or someone you know are interested please ensure they get in touch with me as soon as possible.
We are looking for volunteers to assist Suzanne our Stall Coordinator to mark out the market spaces and help guide the stall holders to their positions on the night. If you can help, please let me know!
Activities
A note will be coming home this week to advise how to pre-purchase wristbands to access UNLIMITED access to three amazing inflatable activities on the night, laser tag, bubble soccer and an adventure inflatable. Pre-purchase $15 per wristband or $45 for families of up to 6 kids. Wristbands will also be available for purchase on the night for $20.
Puddings
Thank you to those of you who ordered puddings last week! They will be avaiable for you to pick up on the night of the market.
