P & F News
Welcome to the last week of term! We held our first community coffee morning last week at Sons of Mischief in Highett. Good coffee and good company, a great way to spend an hour or so on a Thursday! If you missed out, never fear, we’ll hold a few more across the year.
Athletics Day
A coffee truck has been booked to be at the Athletics track between 9am and 10.30 for your caffeine fix on Friday morning. With no lunch orders available on the day the P&F will be taking over the Canteen space selling icy poles and sweet treats (biscuits, cupcakes, etc). Prices will vary between 50c and $2.
Easter Raffle
With the aim to create 3 hampers for our raffle, we are still looking for families to donate Easter chocolates/gifts. We ask that all donations are delivered to the office or classroom teachers by Wednesday.
Raffle tickets went home last week and need to be returned by Thursday.
The raffle will be drawn on Friday at school after the Athletics Day.
Class Coordinators
Last week the class lists were circulated, we hope they enable you to connect with other parents in your child’s class. We are now looking for volunteers to take up the position of Class Coordinator for each of the year levels. This role is not a time consuming one, we’re just looking for someone to be the social coordinator for each class. You may choose to organise things such as dinners, movie nights, catch ups in the park over the school holidays, etc. Ideally, we’d love 2 parents from each class to take on this role. Thank you to Sylvia Cary who has volunteered to be Class Coordinator for 1 / 2. If you’d like to know more about the role or would like to volunteer, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
