The Magic of Reading Aloud.

Words are all around us, you can pick up anything to read aloud.

A picture book, recipe, newspaper, a non fiction book, a comic or a poem just to name a few.

You can read to yourself, to a family member, a pet, or to your class.

Try being animated, use funny voices or sound affects. Try reading LOUDLY, or really quietly..... read slowly or quickly and think about your tone of voice - sad, excited, angry or scared.

Most importantly, you’re never too old , reading aloud is a great way to spend time with family and friends.

 

The Learning Hub being used for teaching groups and reading groups.

As of Week 5 the Learning Hub will open twice a week, one recess and one lunchtime.

During this time the children will be able to have a game of chess with a friend, play with LEGO, build with the planks , drawing and of course reading. This will happen on a Tuesday Lunchtime and  a Wednesday Recess.

Sit back and relax all you need is a good book.
