On Monday 25th March, the Foundation students, staff and parents participated in our first learning assembly for the year. The focus for our assembly was based around our Inquiry concept ‘Change’ in which we have been focusing on families and how families are different and have changed over the years.

We began with a beautiful meditation focusing on the importance of families and what our family means to us. The students shared a lovely sentence that they wrote stating why they love their family. We finished the learning assembly in which the students and parents drew a picture of doing something special together, for example going camping. These pictures have been used to make a display in our Foundation classroom along with photos of their families.

Thank you to all the parents that were able to join us for our first assembly. We look forward to sharing more of our learning next term.
