Interschool Chess Competition

Congratulations to the 15 students from Year 1 to Year 6 that participated in the Interschool Chess Competition at St Catherine's on Wednesday, 12th March. The students played 7 games against different opponents. We came 2nd overall. The children all received a certificate. Niicholas Stamatakos received a medal for coming 3rd overall. Linus Hupfeld, Nicholas Stamatakos, Benjamin Castrillon and Nathan Anesideis received a medal for being the top scorers at St Catherine’s.

We are looking forward to entering our team in competitions during Terms 2 and 3. The team will meet regularly to practise their skills and learn from each other.
