P & F Update
Welcome back to Term 2! I hope you all enjoyed the break.
On the last day of Term 1 we drew our Easter Raffle. Thank you to all the families for donating Easter goodies to make up our hampers, they looked terrific! Congratulations to our winners:
1st Prize: Jessica Lee
2nd Prize: Paul Harding
3rd Prize: Plas Family
4th Prize: Sofia Sloan
5th Prize: Theodore Goulas
6th Prize: Emily Baldwin
7th Prize: Sophie Langdon
My thanks also to those who baked goodies to sell at the canteen, the kids loved the variety on offer! I would especially like to thank Lisa Anstee and Kari McCormack for their assistance on the day.
Mothers Day Stall & Breakfast
Our Mothers Day stall and breakfast will be held on Friday May 10th. Flyers for both the stall and breakfast are below and a hard copy will be sent home with the eldest child in the family. Please return forms to your child's classroom teacher.
In order to make the day special for our mum's we are asking for dad's to volunteer on the morning to help cook the bacon and egg rolls and to run the hot drinks from the coffee van to the learning hub. If you can assist, please contact me via the details below.
Class Representatives
We are still looking for volunteers to become class reps for several classes. Ideally it would be terrific if 2 or more people from each class/year level could put their hand up to assist (many hands make light work!).
The role of class rep is so important in our school. By facilitating social events, it enables our parents to meet and connect outside the school grounds and therefore foster a strong sense of community which is imperative in a school of our size.
Please don't hesitate to contact me at any time if you need any more information about becoming a class rep or perhaps volunteering for one of our events across the year.
Kind regards,
Julie
