SRC
This week the SRC (School Representative Council) met for their first meeting for the year. Due to the circumstances during 2020 we were only able to hold two meetings last year, as a result we welcome back our nominated representatives from last year to be this year’s SRC. We have two new members joining us from Year 1MH, Emma McKell and June Wilson.
The students were presented with their new badges at the beginning of the year Mass. We look forward to a productive year using the students ideas and feedback and putting them into action.
Safer Internet Day
Every class started the chat about online safety on Tuesday, Safer Internet Day. This took shape in a variety of ways, classes discussed ways to stay safe online and created an online agreement and rules for their class to follow. Others listened to the newly released story and song from the eSafety Commission. You listen to the story and song on the following link.

The students discussed the importance of not sharing their personal information and photos online. They shared who they would talk to if they felt they were not comfortable with things they had seen or heard whilst online.
It’s important that we keep up to date with the latest information about being safe online. Visit https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents for further information.
