Throughout Term 1 students at St Catherine's participated in the Literacy Planet Word Mania competition against students worldwide. Students represented St Catherine's to race against the clock to build as many words as they could in three minutes from 15 randomly generated tiles. All year levels performed excellently, especially our Year 2 class who came first place in all of Australia and New Zealand! The students won a Literacy Planet one-year subscription for every student in our school (valued at $3,000) and a $500 gift voucher to spend on resources for our school. Well done to all students involved!
