Holt Cross Country
On Friday 13th May, 13 children competed in the Holt District Cross Country; Alexander Arnauotis, Zara Thompson, Xavier Knowles, Lachie Plas, Jensen Walters, George Wilson, Gus Welsh, Duke Greskie, Dom Slupecki, Cooper Currie, Alexis Kluger, Maggie Willmott and Liana Yalda. Sadly Jackson Sloan was unwell on the day and unable to compete.
It was a fantastic day and St Catherine's did extremely well.
Congratulations to Zara who ran brilliantly to beat her opponent in a photo finish. Zara will now compete at Beachside Division on Tuesday 31st May. We wish her well as she not only represents St Catherine's but also the Holt District. Congratulations to Xavier Knowles who came 11th, Lachie Plas, 16th and Alexander Arnaoutis came in 17th position. It is a great achievement to finish the course, so well done to all our competitors. I hope all will compete again next year.
A huge thank you to Matt, Juliette, Lozan and John who drove our children to the event and to all the other parents and relatives who came to support our team. It is greatly appreciated.

Interschool Sport
This Friday, St Catherine’s will be playing against St James for Interschool Sport.
The venue for Football has been changed to
Peanut Farm Reserve, 21 Spenser St, St Kilda
instead of The Wattie Watson Oval, Elwood as stated in the Operoo.
