In Grade 1 we have been learning about Narratives by exploring Fairy Tales. We have read Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, The Princess and the Pea and The Three Billy Goats Gruff. When reading, we have explored the structure and language features of narratives. As a small group activity, we used our great imagination to come up with possible characters, settings and plots for our narratives. We worked really well together as a group to share materials and actively listen and respect the opinions and ideas of others.
