Foundation Writing

Over the past few weeks we have been learning about placing a capital letter at the beginning of our sentences and for people’s names. We are learning to put a full stop at the end to show the end of our ideas before starting a new sentence. We have been using little spacemen spacers to help us remember to put a space between our words. We are stretching out the words we want to write and recording the sounds we hear. 

The students have loved writing and sharing their recounts with their classmates.
