Persuasive Writing

The students in 3/4MD have been learning about Persuasive Writing. 

Persuasive writing is a form of nonfiction writing that encourages careful word choice, the development of logical arguments, and a cohesive summary. Young children can be guided through a series of simple steps in an effort to develop their persuasive writing skills.

Students have learnt to write an introduction, their point of view (argument) and evidence to support their opinion.

The students of 3/4MD were even able to respectfully argue their points about the 3/4 year level having a sleepover, at school.
