Year 5/6 Learning assembly
I liked reading and getting better at reading to people and how they asked a lot of questions at the end and I was having a lot of fun meeting my classmate’s parents or family members. I was not as overwhelmed as I thought I would be.

It was an excellent and fun assembly. Everyone in our class did their best. All the stations worked very well. I think all the parents learnt a lot and also got ideas of what our class, 5/6AT, have been learning.
I think the Kahoot was very fun because it got to test what the parents learnt and what they knew.
At the start, I was a little nervous but by the end, I was proud of myself and my class. The preparation took time but it was worth it when we saw our parents' proud faces. In my group we got a few questions like "Why is that Ethos?" Thank you to all the parents that came, I hope you know how well we are doing.

My class 5/6 AT presented a learning assembly at 2:45 pm on Tuesday the 26th of July, in the learning hub.
The preparation for everyone's scripts and props took 2 days to make and set all the props and displays. After lunch, we went straight to the learning hub to get ready.
It was 2:35pm at 2:38pm everyone’s parents and family members started to fill up the room and everyone's butterflies kicked in.
Then the clock ticked to 2:45pm, most parents had arrived. Then Mrs.Tavcar said the speech, introducing everyone to our assembly. The parents then went to their child's station. Mrs.Tavcar pressed the button that started the timer.
Everyone's group started. There were five stations 1 was Advertisements that we made, 2 was Types of Advertisements, 3 was How to make an advertisement, 4 was Radio advertisements, and 5 were techniques of advertisements with a jamboard activity.
When our parents ended up back at our station we played a Kahoot about Pathos, Ethos,Logos. Everyone enjoyed it.

On the 26th of july, 5/6AT had a learning assembly. Once we had got everything near perfection we were ready to start our learning assembly. The parents got there pretty early, my dad was the first though (hehe). Mrs. Tavcar introduced the parents to the stations and what we will be doing, Then the Faith and Learning Leaders read the prayer. Mrs. Tavcar guided our parents to our stations then we got to work.
My station was about advertising techniques. The parents all went to their child's station first. My group told them about all the techniques, taught them about jamboard and then they got to use their own real life jamboard after watching a famous Australian ad.
Before the assembly, I felt proud and kind of nervous
After the assembly I felt proud, relieved and still a bit nervous

On the 26th of July at 2:45pm, I walked into the Learning Assembly for 5/6 AT. It was filled with bright colourful posters and each station had its own unique things. I patiently waited at my station as the room filled with parents. My heart filled with joy but I was very nervous. As Alex and Eva finished up their prayer and Mrs Tavcar finished the introduction all the parents went to our stations. The learning hub was filled with joy. A huge smile was on my face as I taught all the parents about persuasive techniques. In the end my mum and dad were so proud and loved it so much.
