Melbourne Museum Excursion
Grade 3/4 were very excited to attend their first excursion for the year on the 11th October. We all took a trip out along with the Grade 5 and 6 students to Melbourne Museum where we were able to explore a range of different exhibitions such as, First Peoples, Mini Mega Model Museum, The Melbourne Story, Bugs Alive, Dinosaur Walk, Phar Lap, and Milarri Garden Trail. It was a jam packed day full of exciting information.

A few students wanted to share with you their favourite highlights from the day:
Duke - I really loved the insect exhibition, we were able to see different Tarantula skins.
Dom - I enjoyed seeing the Mini Model exhibition. I was able to see how miniature engines worked by pressing buttons.
Alexis - My favourite part was when we got to see a real life snake eat a mouse. They only need to be fed once a month!
Leona - I loved getting to see all the different rocks and minerals.
