St John’s Ambulance Victoria visited our school on the 1st of May to deliver their First Aid program to our students. This program has taken an innovative approach to ensure all First Aid lessons and fun and interactive experiences for students of all learning capabilities. Trained St John’s presenters lead students through tailored sessions on the importance of First Aid and what to do in a medical emergency. Our junior students learnt how to identify when there is an emergency, how to keep themselves safe and how to call for an ambulance. Senior students learnt how to deliver CPR and the things they can do to assist in an emergency.
