National Simultaneous Storytime 2023
National Simultaneous Storytime is held held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
Every year a picture story book , written and illustrated by an Australian Author and Illustrator is chosen and then read simultaneously around Australia.
Libraries, schools, preschools,  child care centres and bookshops all read this book on this particular day.
Once again St Catherine’s participated in this Storytime.
This years book was The Speedy Sloth, written by Rebecca Young & Heath Mackenzie.
All classes read this book and participated in activities around The Speedy Sloth.

Issue 4 of the Scholastic Book Club will be distributed to all children on Tuesday the 30th of May.
Could any orders please be placed by Tuesday 6th of June.
Scholastic Book Fair

Once again St Catherine’s hosted another successful Book Fair.
Thank you to the Learning and Faith Leaders, Ben , Rebecca and Cristina for giving up their time before and after school to help support this fair.
We can’t wait to display our new books when they arrive.
