In our Biological Science Inquiry Unit we have been learning about the difference between living and non-living things. We have learnt to categorise living things as things that grow, change and have offspring similar to themselves. We have learnt that living things have a variety of external features and live in different places where their basic needs, including food, water and shelter, are met. So far we have enjoyed learning about the life cycle of sunflowers, turtles and butterflies.
