P & F Update
Hi All
Welcome to Term 3, I hope you managed to keep warm over the break!
As mentioned in my last update, this term is all about getting you out and socialising. It would be great if each of the classes could organise a catch up of some type, whether it's a mum's dinner, a dinner at a local restaurant that has a kids playground so that everyone can attend, or perhaps even a night at somewhere like General Public in Dingley where there is something for everyone to do! I'm sure there are a few of you in each class who can get together and get it happening! Whatever you choose, please let me know the details and I'll make sure to advertise it in this space (and also ensure that there are no clashes across classes so that parents with more than one child don't have to chose which event to attend!).
Our big fundraiser for the year is the Christmas Market which will be held on Thursday November 28th. This type of event needs lots of people to make it happen, so I'm looking for volunteers. A quick catch up for those who are interested in assisting in any capacity will be held at 3.30 on Thursday 25th July in the Learning Hub. I'd also like to encourage anyone who would be interested in running a stall (or if you have ideas for stalls) to attend as well. If you can't make the 24th, and would be interested in helping out, please don't hesitate to let me know via email/text.
It should be noted, that if we can't get enough people to assist in organising the Market, then it won't go ahead. Money raised from events such as the Market make a huge difference to our children, allowing the School to do things such as purchase additional learning tools, enhance the outdoor play space or go towards other initiatives.
